I first met Jo a few years ago and since Jo and her family regularly visited the studio to update their family photographs. This time was a very special occasion however as I was being introduced to the new addition to the family Charlie at 12 days old. We planned to see each other a bit earlier but Charlie had to stay in hospital for a bit longer than planned. Unfortunately these things happen with newborns and I am able to accommodate this.

Phoebe had her proud big sister moment. I think every parent would love a photo like this in their living room of their little ones, don't you think?

There is a limit to what you can do safely with a toddler and a newborn baby but this is such a beautiful way to photograph them together. Phoebe was actually holding her little brother here for ages.

And if you are lucky to have the grandparents around to help, I think they deserve a little moment in front of the camera with their brand-new grandson too.

Of course lots of photos with mum and dad were taken too but thought I show you something a bit different this time. Professional photos are a fantastic gift to have, however they look even more stunning when displayed around the house.

Art makes you HAPPY! According to The Guardian, scientists have discovered that looking at Art induces the same feelings of pleasure as being in Love. With the right frame a photograph can be transformed in a piece of art. Every Art piece has a story.

Which one would you choose to display in your home? The Classic...

Or the contemporary one...?

I think everyone should have the opportunity the have beatiful photos of those early days with your new baby. Unfortuntaly not everyone knows about the critical deadline of 14 days max when these type of photos can be taken of a newborn baby, so please share this blog with your friends who are expecting.

If you like to know more about my newborn photography please visit this page or get in touch with any questions you may have.

Look forward to hearing from you.
