It's always a pleasure when families come back year after year to update their family photograph's. This family was no different. I first met Anna when she was pregnant back in early 2012 for a maternity shoot. I got to meet her baby soon after and now a few years later I met the family with their lovely daughter Beatrice in the park for an early spring family photoshoot.

I always strive to get some posed shots as well as some fun family candids, which naturally flow from the more posed shots anyway for variety. Having a family with two girls myself, I know how hard it can be to get some proper family photos to share with family and friends. But the real personalities can often be seen in the family un-posed shots which is a must in any family photo shoot whether in the studio or not.

Of course no family photoshoot is complete with a few images of the children on their own. Got quite a few lovely ones of Beatrice but here is a cheeky one I wanted to share with you.

A session with a 3 year old needs to move quickly. The mini shoots I offer which are only 20 minutes are perfect for pre-schoolers!

After having seen her photos Anna responded and wrote me a lovely review "We have just received our photos from a family shoot at Nonsuch park and we love them! Tamara has done a great job, especially as our 3 year old daughter was not the happiest during the shoot (even bursting into tears at one point). Tamara quickly moved us on to different spots and could see what was working and what wasn't. As a result we have ended up with a great selection of photos of our daughter on her own and several of the three of us as a family (rare indeed). Thank you very much Tamara :)"
